Mediation Fees

Our fees are in line with the Ministry of Justice Mediation fees.

The fees below are based on the total value of the dispute (claim plus any counter-claim) and the time the mediation is expected to take.

Overtime fees are chargeable when overtime is agreed by the parties.

There may be additional venue hire costs although for commercial mediations these are often avoidable if the parties agree to host the mediation on one of their premises.

*KG Mediation agrees in advance whether these smaller disputes should be dealt with in one or two hours, dependant on complexity. Where the one or two-hour rate is appropriate, the option is available to facilitate settlement via our ‘iMediation’ service (a combination of email and phone correspondence), if both parties agree. ** All mediations have the facility to be extended past the allotted mediation time, with the agreement of both parties and the mediator, through our overtime rates and overtime agreement. This will be openly discussed at the mediation if the need arises and overtime rates are included in the ‘Letter of Appointment’, prior to signing the ‘Agreement to Mediate’.
